Hello (with echo)...not sure if anyone really reads my journal entries, but ok here is the deal:

I am looking for anyone interested in getting their story/book illustrated or simply getting concepts done of their characters, depending on the case I am willing to do it for FREE as a means of expanding my portfolio and gaining experience. If you are interested then send me a note and we can arrange something! I hope at least someone is interested!

It so happens that I'm going through a phase in which I am extremely inspired and it is all due to the amazing brilliance of Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti.  The "Born This Way" short film and the Thierry Mugler Womenswear Fall 2011 collection are the causes of this obsession I have right now.  

As you may have seen I recently uploaded a piece inspired by the music video, featuring Gaga and Rico (Rick Genest), but soon I will be uploading a new piece based on the Mugler runway show, so if you liked the "Gaga and Rico" drawing then pay close attention because you'll love what's next!

This will be a breakdown of all the updates:

-I turned 20 on September 3rd
-This is my last week of this quarter, and I'm so happy lol
-I have done many new drawings and paintings because of my class assignments.
-Began a lot of planning for a new illustration project, that I am really looking forward to start.
-I continue to work on The Hunt, but I've been doing some planning on an untitled project within the universe of The Hunt

I guess you guys will start to see these things soon as I begin to post them, so stick around!

Alright, so it was about time that I updated this haha, I have recently (about 3 weeks ago) started college once again. I signed up for Illustration at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and I'm really liking my courses, my teachers and the facilities so far

So I am happy to be once again in a creative environment, and with a more structured week, because I was really tired of having so much free time, with no limitations nor organization. Free time is a good thing, but once you have too much of it in your hands it becomes a catastrophe to your mind haha

As you can probably imagine, college is making me draw a lot, especially in Illustration, so as soon as I can scan some of my new work, I will be posting it up online

I'll make this somewhat short. I am very happy of 2009, it went far beyond completing all of my expectations, to me it just was a fantastic year, maybe one of the best years of my life if not the best one. I remember last year on new years I made a very important wish/promise to myself, and it definitely was accomplished in the past year. So I am very content with '09 for that

All I'm asking for in 2010 is that I can be reunited with the love of my life, and that I can learn, grow, fill myself up with new experiences, fix my errors without losing my ability to make mistakes, because by making mistakes is how I learn, be able to mature as a person, as a human being, as an individual with a lot of ideas to share and a lot of words to speak out of my mouth.

I wish you all the best for 2010, happiness, good health and success in all your goals and dreams for the future! Let us hope that 2010 will bring us all together, and that we can realize the kind of power we have as a whole, the power to change and affect for good all the problems in this world we live in. So that we can live and prosper into a new and better era of humanity.
